Members from the PSSF Board of Directors made their annual trip to Palestine in October 2018 to visit partner universities and meet with the student scholarship recipients. Among the universities visited was Bethlehem University and the University of Haifa.
At Bethlehem University, the Vice President for Advancement, Brother Denis Loft, and Development Officer, Shahinda Nassar, welcomed the delegation and briefed them on the latest developments at the University. During the meeting, students were able to talk to the Board about their experiences, challenges and struggles, and they expressed their sincere gratitude for the scholarships as the tremendous financial help allowed them to focus on academics and ease their burden. The meeting was followed by a tour around the Bethlehem University campus.
